HEIDI WONG is a writer, artist, and content creator.

Ever since scribbling on magazines at seven months old, Heidi has been dedicated to creating in all forms.

At 6 years old she was selected to enroll in the Beijing Children’s Palace Arts Training Program, where she was classically trained in Fine Arts. From the ages 8-15, Heidi competed in the National Art and Calligraphy Competition of China and was the winner for 6 consecutive years.

Then as a junior in high school, Heidi collaborated with Phoenix New Media for their 2015 live charity art auction, where she single-handedly raised over 43,000 USD for children’s cancer treatment in rural China. In the same year, she also published her first poetry collection, sixteen.

Equally committed to her love for writing, Heidi went on to win the 2018 Button Poetry Short Form Contest with her poem “how i became an atheist” and release her second collection, Turning to Wallpaper, with Central Avenue Publishing. In September 2021, Turning to Wallpaper ranked #1 on Amazon and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Dylan Thomas Prize.

Upon graduating with honors from Hamilton College with a BA in Creative Writing and Fine Arts, Heidi bridged her love for writing and art by creating her storytelling TikTok account, which accumulated over 20 million views within the first month alone. Now with a worldwide fanbase of over 8 million followers, Heidi continues to create viral content for Netflix, Sony, 20th Century Studios, Paramount Pictures, Universal, AMC, and more, while studying to complete her Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from New York University.

When Heidi isn’t writing or filming videos, you can find her strolling through the Lower East Side looking for inspiration and collaborating with her friends on their next big project.
